I've been following the blog since 2015/16. I found it when searching for a screenplay - god knows what it was - but Google brought me here.

I was delighted when I saw the list of scripts available to read (without a catch). So I bookmarked the page. Within a week I was returning daily. The rest is history as they say.

The accessibility of the blog is what stood out the most. The article on "1 2 7 14" for example, became a blueprint for me. But like the mantras linked here - although I wouldn't discourage anyone from reading books on screenwriting - on those mornings I sometimes forget how to write, often all it takes is a quick read on GITS to kick-start me into gear.

If Kurt's eyes were baring down on me though, I might say differently.

But for any aspiring screenwriters I've met since, I always encourage them to delve into the rabbit hole of content here or at the very least read "1 2 7 14".
